Cookies Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how CAREDIAMONDS uses cookies and similar technologies on our Shopify website — and what choices you have regarding their use. This policy complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help enable essential functions, make browsing more convenient, and allow us to analyze and improve the website through anonymous statistics. Some cookies are deleted once you close your browser (session cookies), while others remain stored for a defined period (persistent cookies) to recognize preferences or logins on your next visit.
2. Types of Cookies and Their Use
Necessary Cookies:
These cookies are essential for basic website functions, such as the shopping cart, login, or form submissions. They are automatically set and cannot be disabled.
Functional Cookies:
These cookies enhance usability by remembering preferences such as language or currency settings and enabling extra features like loading fonts or videos. They are only activated with your consent.
Analytics Cookies:
Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our site — such as which pages are viewed and how long visitors stay. This anonymous data helps us improve our offering.
Marketing Cookies:
Marketing cookies make it possible to display relevant content or measure campaign performance. These cookies often come from third parties (e.g., social media platforms) and are only set with explicit consent.

3. Third-Party-Cookies und embedded Content
Third-Party Cookies: When using our website, cookies from third parties may also be stored on your device. This happens, for example, when we include content or services that are provided by third parties. In our shop, the following third-party providers may be used:
Shopify: Our shop platform itself sets various cookies to ensure the operation of the website (see “technically necessary cookies” above) and to collect statistics. Details are described in the Shopify Privacy Policy.
Payment Services: If you select an external payment service during checkout (e.g., PayPal, Klarna), the respective provider may set its own cookies. This serves, for example, to recognize your account or to detect fraud during payment. We have no direct influence on these cookies. However, you can decide in your cookie banner or browser settings whether you want to allow third-party cookies. Please note that rejecting such cookies may affect the use of the respective payment service. Further information can be found in the privacy policies of the respective providers (e.g., PayPal or Klarna).
Klaviyo: If you register for our newsletter, we use Klaviyo, which may use cookies to track your usage behavior on our website (e.g., which products you have viewed). This allows us to better tailor our marketing communication to your interests. These cookies are only set with your consent (marketing cookies).
Embedded Content: Our website may include content from third-party platforms, such as videos from YouTube or maps from Google Maps (currently inactive, but possibly in the future). By embedding such content, the respective third parties may set cookies, for example, to analyze the use of their service or to track your user behavior — especially if you are logged in there. For example, YouTube sets cookies when a video is played to store your settings and track viewing behavior. Such cookies (also known as media or widget cookies) are also only set with your consent. If you do not activate this content (no consent), the third-party content will be blocked or loaded only after a second click (so-called two-click procedure).
4. Consent and Management
Cookie Consent: When visiting our website for the first time (and possibly at regular intervals), a cookie banner appears in which you can set your privacy preferences. There you have the option to select or reject individual categories of cookies (with the exception of strictly necessary cookies, which are always set). Your selection will be stored and taken into account during future visits. You can change these settings at any time by clicking on the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of the website (if available) or by clearing your browser cache to display the banner again. We store your consent decisions so that we do not have to ask for them again on every visit and to be able to prove your consent in accordance with legal requirements. This storage can take place either in a technically necessary cookie (consent cookie) on your device or on our server. The consent cookie itself does not contain any personal data other than an anonymous identifier and your consent status.
Browser Settings: Regardless of our banner, you can also generally control the use of cookies through your browser settings. You can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your device, that already set cookies are deleted, or that you are notified before a new cookie is created. You can also block cookies from certain providers via your browser settings (e.g., disable third-party cookies). In your browser’s help section, you will find instructions on how to manage cookie settings.
For common browsers, you can find instructions here:
Google Chrome: See Google Chrome – Manage cookies
Mozilla Firefox: See Mozilla Firefox – Allow and reject cookiesMicrosoft Edge / Internet
Explorer: See Microsoft – Delete and manage cookies (for older IE versions, see linked help section)
Apple Safari: See Apple Safari – Use of cookies
Opera: See Opera – Manage cookies
Please note that disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website. In particular, certain features (e.g., shopping cart, login) may no longer be fully available if cookies are blocked.
Further Opt-Out Options:
In addition to browser settings, some services provide their own opt-out mechanisms. For example, you can prevent the setting of Google Analytics cookies via the browser plugin mentioned above or object centrally to the use of many advertising cookies on sites such as:
YourOnlineChoices http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement .
Opt-Out-Portal http://optout.networkadvertising.org
About Ads http://optout.aboutads.info
These services allow you to disable preference-based advertising.
Please note that these settings must be made separately for each device and browser.
5. Updates Cookie-Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy occasionally, for example, when new technologies are introduced or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be available on our website.
